By Ins Europa This school year 2021-2022, we will count once more on the help of Hannah Cox as the language assistant of the 4th ESO students. As we announced in previous years, the help of a language assistant in the secondary schools of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat is part of a programme carried out by the City Council and the Catalan Education Department.
The language assistant is a native speaker of English who helps the students in many tasks, particularly in the one to improve their oral skills. We are lucky not only to have a language assistant but also to have Hannah, whom we already know from last year.

By R. Martínez, J. Navarro L’alumnat d’Aula Oberta de 3r ESO i de 4t ESO hem anat a visitar el Museu Picasso de Barcelona. Allà hem fet una activitat d’observació de cinc obres de Picasso, guiats/des per la monitora; hem comentat i opinat sobre què ens deien aquests quadres i hem parlat de com anaven canviant les seves obres al llarg del temps (des de quadres realistes fins a quadres únicament cubistes).
Una altra activitat ha consistit en dibuixar, fent servir la tècnica del cubisme, alguns dels personatges de Las Meninas de Velázquez, observant amb el major detall possible la versió cubista que va fer Picasso, que, per cert, en va fer unes quantes, no només una.
By Ins Europa Els alumnes a Física de 4t d'ESO porten ja dues setmanes treballant a fons el tema de forces. Hem experimentat les acceleracions i els equilibris de moltes formes, i hem anat arribant a conclusions, fent servir el mètode científic.
By Ins Europa This school year 21-22 we are very happy to start with three language assistants, Verena from Austria, and Maria and Ariadni from Greece. They are Erasmus students and have come to help us improve our English, especially our spoken English.
They have introduced themselves presenting their profiles in the class and telling us things about their countries. The presentations were very interesting and we learned a lot with them.
We are very happy that Coronavirus has allowed us to have language assistants again and hope we can learn a lot from and with them. Welcome, Verena, Maria and Ariadni!.
