By Ins Europa El passat dimecres 8, l'alumnat de l'Aula d'acollida va acomiadar el curs participant en una de les representacions culturals més característiques de Catalunya: els diables i els correfocs.
Després d'un curs aprenent la llengua i la cultura de Catalunya tocava acomiadar-se fent gresca i xerinola. Durant aquesta jornada tan especial, petits i grans han compartit moments de riure i complicitat en experimentar per primera vegada la sensació de vestir-se per a un correfoc i "cremar" una carretilla.

By Ins Europa This week we say goodbye to Anna, our current language assistant from Budapest, Hungary.
Anna has been with us nearly six months and has helped our students improve their English skills, especially that of speaking. She began by discovering her country to us and after all these months working together, we have shared a lot of experiences and anecdotes.
Thank you, Anna, we wish you all the best and we know you’ll be a very good English teacher!
By Ins Europa Els estudiants de 3r d’ESO han estat tres dies a la casa de colònies de Mas Cabàlies, al municipi gironí d’Ogassa, envoltats d’un paisatge pirinenc únic. Aquí han pogut descobrir la història de la Serra Cavallera, i han fet moltes fotografies de la flora i la fauna del lloc. A més, també han visitat la vila minera d’Ogassa, i han gaudit de diferents activitats lúdiques i educatives com la cursa d’orientació, el tir amb arc i els jocs nocturns.
A la tornada al centre, l’alumnat ha preparat i presentat unes exposicions grupals que recullen el treball realitzat al CdA. L’experiència ha estat molt positiva i ha servit, entre altres, per a fomentar la cohesió del grup i per a descobrir nous indrets del país.
By Ins Europa Institut Europa is launching the 2nd edition of its Short Film Festival. Students are welcome to show their skills and creativity by means of their short film productions. Rules of the contest will be sent to all students.
Deadline for submission of productions: 8-13th June.
By Ins Europa The new Erasmus project called” Climate Change Challenge” with Italy, Finland, Poland, Portugal and Turkey has already begun. Our aim is to raise awareness of the importance of recycling, reducing and reusing as much as possible in order to protect our plane and make it safer and cleaner. If we work together, we can get it. From the 20th to the 23rd April teachers of our school have been in Lisbon preparing the activities for the following meetings.
We hope it will help our teachers and students enlarge their knowledge of other cultures and ways to work on the topic, improve their English, make friends and have a good time. Good luck on the project!
