Last Monday the students of the first year of Baccalaureate went to visit la Pedrera. It was a guided visit in English organised by the teachers of history and English. The students visited the Espai Gaudí, the roof and the flat and had to answer a questionnaire about the characteristics of the building, its architect Antonio Gaudí and his style, the Modernism. After the visit, they interviewed tourists who were walking along Passeig de Gracia and could also see la “Casa Batlló and la Casa Amatller” (the last one designed by Puig I Cadafalch).
It was a cool way of studying the architectonical elements of the Modernism created by the great architect Antonio Gaudi and learning English at the same time!
